One of the most valuable lessons we´ve learned during these times is that we have the ability to adapt to whatever adversity comes our way.  We were able to transform our lives overnight, both personally and professionally.

 

At the beginning of this pandemic, before we could find facemasks literally down any street, how many of us tried to make our own out of things we had at home ?  Up-cycling is not new, our grandmothers and mothers have practiced it all their lives.

 

After working 17 years in the fashion industry, I’ve decided to take a small detour and create ÉTICO home, a personal blog dedicated to sustainable home ideas, taking ordinary unwanted things and turn them into something new and extraordinary.

 

Throughout this journey I’ll be sharing the creative process in home textiles, art, pottery and many more sustainable materials.

Si alguna cosa nos enseño el 2020, fue que tenemos la habilidad de adaptarnos a cualquier adversidad que se nos presente. Fuimos capaces de la noche a la mañana en transformar nuestras vidas, tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional.

 

Al comienzo de esta pandemia, antes de que pudiéramos encontrar mascarillas en cualquier lugar ¿cuántos de nosotros intentamos hacer una con las cosas que teníamos en casa? El up-cycling no es nuevo, nuestras abuelas y madres lo han practicado toda la vida.

 

Después de haber trabajado 15 años en la industrial de la moda he decido crear ÉTICO home, tomar cosas ordinarias no deseadas y convertirlas en algo nuevo y extraordinario, que hoy en día se conoce como el “up-cycling”.  A lo largo de este viaje, compartiré el proceso creativo en textile hogar, arte, cerámica y cualquier otro material sostenible.
